The Chinnarach Muay Thai gym is run by a fighter named Chinnarach Chor Wattarin and his wife, Ploy. “Chin” was an awesome fighter in his time and in route to racking up an impressive record of 185-65, he captured titles at the most prestigious stadiums in the country (Lumpinee and Rajadamnern).

Chinnarach is located on the island of Koh Phangan, which is an island in the Surat Thani province that sits between Koh Samui to the South and Koh Tao to the North. For detailed information on how to get to Koh Phangan, click here.

The gym itself is located 5 minutes walking distance from the Thongsala pier in the center of town. Click here for a map and detailed directions.

Chin recently had some on-site rooms built. The rates for the rooms are 400 baht per night or 7000 baht per month and they have a bed, a fan, a fridge, free WiFi and a toilet. They’re small but convenient. Alternatively, you can find accommodation elsewhere on the island and just commute to the gym for training.
